  • 1.5 pounds Sirloin steak cut into 1 to 1½-inch pieces, trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for searing
Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream preferably heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional, for spice
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning

Equipment

  • Cast Iron Skillet
  • Tongs
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking hot. Add olive oil.
  3. Sear steak bites in a single layer without overcrowding, about 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Work in batches if necessary.
  4. Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  6. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  7. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if using. Allow sauce to thicken slightly.
  9. Return steak bites to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and warm through for 1 minute.
  10. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or steamed broccoli for extra flavor and nutrition. To spice it up, add extra red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce.
