Ingredients
  

Base
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread toasted
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed
  • 2 eggs hard-boiled and chilled
Seasoning & Toppings
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • lemon juice optional, to prevent browning
  • chili flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Boil the eggs in water for 10 minutes until hard-boiled. Cool them in an ice bath, then peel.
  2. Chill the peeled eggs in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm them up.
  3. Toast the bread slices to your desired crispness.
  4. Mash the avocado and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using.
  5. Spread the seasoned avocado evenly over the toasted bread.
  6. Grate the chilled hard-boiled eggs over the avocado using a fine grater or microplane.
  7. Top with chili flakes or any other optional toppings. Serve immediately.
